Writing Intern

Writing interns will play an important role in helping Catholic Clarity Foundation grow its visibility and public presence. Interns in this role will write engaging and informative articles on behalf of Catholic Clarity Foundation to help spread awareness about the app and its mission.

Responsibilities may include:

• Writing articles, features, and promotional content about Catholic Clarity Foundation
• Helping build public awareness and credibility for the app
• Researching topics and developing content ideas connected to the app's goals
• Reaching out to and submitting articles to local newspapers, school newspapers, magazines, blogs, and other publications
• Working with the team to ensure messaging is clear, professional, and engaging

Social Media Intern

Social media interns will help shape Catholic Clarity Foundation's online presence and marketing strategy. This role is perfect for someone creative, organized, and interested in branding, digital marketing, and audience engagement.

Responsibilities may include:

• Creating content for various social media platforms
• Designing and scheduling posts that promote Catholic Clarity Foundation in an engaging way
• Collaborating with the video team to create marketing-focused social media content
• Helping develop and organize a social media and marketing plan
• Supporting efforts to increase traffic, engagement, brand awareness, and credibility for the app
• Tracking trends and brainstorming new ways to reach target audiences

Videography / Video Editing Intern

Videography and video editing interns will help bring Catholic Clarity Foundation's message to life through visual content. These interns will create and edit videos that can be used by the marketing and social media teams to promote the app.

Responsibilities may include:

• Filming and editing promotional video content for Catholic Clarity Foundation
• Creating short-form videos for social media and marketing campaigns
• Working with the social media and marketing team to develop engaging visual content
• Editing footage into polished, professional videos
• Helping communicate the app's mission and value through creative storytelling

Software Development Intern

Catholic Clarity Foundation is looking for motivated Software Development Interns to join our small, fast-moving team. You'll contribute directly to the Catholic Clarity Foundation mobile app and web experience, writing real code that reaches real users from day one.

Responsibilities may include:

• Building and improving features across the mobile app (React Native / Expo) and web frontend (React)
• Developing and maintaining backend REST APIs using NestJS
• Working with a PostgreSQL database via Prisma ORM and Supabase
• Collaborating on a monorepo alongside a small engineering team
• Writing and reviewing code with an eye toward quality, readability, and performance
• Participating in planning discussions and contributing ideas on features and architecture

What we're looking for:

• Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Some experience with React, React Native, or a similar frontend framework
• Interest in backend development and RESTful APIs
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of tasks
• Comfort working in a small team where your contributions are visible and impactful

Nice to have:

• Experience with Node.js or NestJS
• Exposure to SQL or a database ORM
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Shipped side projects
